
The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) held its Public Hearing on the Module 1 Land Use Code update topics on Tuesday, August 16th. (Meeting packet and agenda here.) The project lead from consultant firm Logan Simpson facilitated a review of code sections covering Site Plan Review Process, Special Event Permits, Right of Way Vacation, Wildland Urban Interface, Accessory Dwelling Units, Agritourism, and Private Lands Camping. The BOCC has scheduled a special meeting on Monday, August 22nd, starting at 8:00am to continue deliberation on the remaining sections not yet discussed, including Short Term Rentals, Special Event Facilities, and Bed and Breakfast uses, as well as continued discussion of Private Lands Camping.
