The Land Use Code update will be accomplished through a process of diagnosis, public outreach, and collaborative drafting. The Code consultants want to know from the Chaffee County community what is working well and what is not working well with the current land use regulations. This input, along side in-depth review of existing master plan documents, such as the 2020 Comprehensive Plan, and the current zoning and subdivision regulations, will help guide the update process and its priorities moving forward.
